Description
The nitrogen membrane module generates nitrogen, while oxygen-enriched air is released as a by-product. Membrane technology enables the production of nitrogen directly at the point of use and is an economical and inexpensive alternative to the conventional use of nitrogen gas cylinders.
The nitrogen hollow fiber membrane can separate oxygen from ambient air and thus generate a high content of air enriched with nitrogen (99,5%). Compressed air flows through the interior of the hollow fibers to produce the nitrogen-enriched air at the end of the hollow fibers in the compressed state. Air enriched with oxygen penetrates the hollow fibers and is released from the module without counter pressure.
Technical Highlights
Nitrogen concentration up to 99,5%
Operating temperature: 5°C – 55°C (41°F – 131°F)
Requires compressed air to provide highly concentrated nitrogen
Mobile unit for many areas of application
Does not make any noise since the separation is carried out continuosly
Compact size
Can be installed either vertically or horizontally
